Unlike most of the phones, the Galaxy S7 or the S7 Edge doesn’t come with a removable battery. So one way to reset is to perform the usual restart option. Hold down the power button for a while and wait till the phone restarts. But sometimes, the phone freezes and might not respond to the power button. In that case, we could go with a soft reset.

- Wait for a while – till your phone restarts
Factory reset, on the other hand is different thing which erases all the data and the user settings from the device.
