Instagram has started rolling out its new feature, multiple account support, for Android users. What that means is, if you have more than one account in Instagram, you could now add all those accounts in the same app for you to have easy access of your accounts. You no more have to log out of one account and log in to another to see or post any updates to different accounts. This is similar to adding multiple email accounts to one single email app.
The feature is active for a few users who have the app of version 7.12 on their Android devices. This version of Instagram is available from the official Play Store beta testing program or the .apk file is available through APK Mirror . After installing the app and logging into your primary desired account, go to Settings and scroll to the very bottom of the page. If the feature is activated, you would find an “Add account” option there from which you can add your other Instagram accounts.
To join into the official beta testing program of Instagram, you need to sign into Google, then join its Google group first and the head over to this link here and click on “BECOME A TESTER”. Update or reinstall the Instagram app on one of your devices and all your connected devices will have been updated to the beta app. You can leave the beta testing program and return to the normal app whenever you like. Full instructions here.
Or you could download the Instagram app of version 7.12.0 from the APK mirror website link provided here.
After successful addition of you other Instagram accounts, you could navigate from one account to other with ease. If you wish to, you could log out from one of your accounts or all at once via the Settings again. If you do not see this feature of adding multiple accounts on your device inspite of being on version 7.12.0 of the app, then you might have to wait a little longer as this is on a rollout.
