Android 6.0 Marshmallow might be named as the improvement update over Android 5.1 Lollipop, but the kind of improvements it brings are big. Previously we saw that the battery usage graph in Marshmallow has been improved to give an extra detail about the battery usage in mAh. Even though that might not be the exact value, it gives an approximate idea of how much battery is consumed by which app with more insight.
Now it is discovered that Marshmallow battery statistics graph not only stops there but it has included Camera and Flashlight apps in the list of the apps where it shows which app is using so much battery. By this we can identify which app is letting the camera to be turned on for most of the time and hence we can stop that particular app from accessing camera and thus reduce battery drain because camera being turned on for a long time can consume a whole lot of battery power.
How do you think this improvement would help in making your device’s batter last long?
