Are you waiting for another Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview build for your Windows Phone? Did you vote in the poll created by Microsoft asking when you want it to be released – this Friday or coming Tuesday?
Microsoft’s Gabriel Aul, who heads the Windows 10 Preview program has asked for users opinion on twitter today saying that a build is ready for release except that a particular bug that does not let app purchases happen smoothly is stopping them from hitting that release button.
The poll is closed now and the result is pretty much clear that 85% of the people who voted opted for a fast release in spite of the bug. The build numbered 10536 will be now released without the fix of the said Windows Store bug. However, it’s not everyday that users try to make an app purchase from the Store. In case you wish to do so, there is a work around for it mentioned by Aul himself.
Based on his earlier tweets, the release of build 10536 can be expected to be tomorrow (Friday), without the fix, as mentioned. So if you voted a “No” and decided you’d rather wait for the fix, you better head into the Windows Insider app and opt out of the Fast ring now.
