There is new addition to the Android One family in India with the launch of the all new Lava Pixel V1. Google has teamed up with Micromax, Karbonn and Spice sofar to give Android one smartphones to the Indian market. It’s collaboration with Lava now results in the second generation of Android One smartphones – Lave Pixel V1.
As always, the main highlight of all the features of any Android One smartphone is that it would be capable of getting the latest of Android OS once it becomes available to the public. The specifications of the Pixel V1 include 5.5 inch HD IPS display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, expandable 32 GB internal memory via a microSD slot, 3G dual SIM, 13 MP rear camera, 8MP front facing camera all powered by a 2650 mAh Li-Polymer battery.
On the software side, the device comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop and, as already mentioned above, will be upgraded to the latest version of Android once available. A notable minus in this device would be that it is capable of only 3G while 4G is now fast growing in Indian mobile phone user-base.
