Some of the Windows Phone 8.1 devices have been experiencing an issue where the device reboots periodically, causing annoyance to the user. Microsoft has identified this problem and has rolled out an update to these devices in order to fix it. But they are still not sure if every Windows Phone device has received the update as they say they have observed that still some of them haven’t got connected to the Microsoft server to get the fix.
For this reason, they have released an app named “Stop Restart” and put it up on the Windows Phone Store for every Windows Phone 8.1 user to download and install. The motive of the app is to check if your Windows Phone 8.1 device has been updated with the fix from Microsoft. If it isn’t, then the app will lead the user through steps to download device to Wi-Fi.
