Google is coming with new ways of making life of Android users easier than before. First it was the “Find my phone” feature which when typed in the Google search bar gives you the location of your Android device and also an option to ring it aloud if you forgot you slipped it somewhere near and are unable to find where it is.
Now it’s the turn of map directions. Typing “Send directions” now into the Google search bar on the desktop browser allows users to send directions to their Android device – from the location of their device to required destination. Of course, just like the previous feature, to be able to send directions, you need to be signed into Google on your browser.
After clicking ‘send’ in the desktop browser,Google Maps on your Android device will be opened up instantly and will be ready to give you directions.
