VLC for Windows Phone

The VLC player app for Windows Phone has received an update yesterday, and with this update, the developer has brought dark theme along with speed improvements and others.

The app is currently stll in beta but is making fast progress and the developers are regularly updating the app by enhancing its existing features and adding some more.

The full changelog of the VLC beta 1.0.10 for Windows Phone is as follows:

– Speed improvements while playing lots of songs, playback fixes, improvements in playing 720p on high end devices.

– You can hold albums, tracks, artists instead of tapping the “…” buttons to show the flyout menu.

– Improvements in music indexation algorithm, *should* bring local/embedded album covers support (experimental).

– This update also brings a EARLY v. of the dark theme support, new icons (still work in progress, missing some new).
