Microsoft might roll out offline file access to OneDrive users of Windows Phone, the OneDrive uservoice website hints so. Over the last couple of months, OneDrive has been receiving lot of love from Microsoft in the form of updates, one of which has also redesigned the app’s UI.
The offline file access, is right now available for OneDrive users on Windows but the same feature is lacking on Windows Phone.
When the same request is put forward by a user on the OneDrive uservoice website, Casey Penk, Program Manager, Microsoft replied saying :
“Thanks for the suggestion. We know offline access is important, and we intend to bring this feature to Windows Phone. We don’t have a specific timeline yet.”
Even though there is not any particular time specified, Windows Phone users can be happy knowing the fact that this OneDrive offline file access feature will be coming soon to Windows Phone.
