Android Lollipop

Just after a few weeks that Android 5.0.1 has been released, the next minor upgrade to Lollipop OS i.e Android 5.0.2 has been published by Google.

Right now, the device that has this latest version of Lollipop OS available is only the Nexus 7 (2012) Wi-Fi edition. The point to be noted is that this device did not recieve the Android 5.0.1 upgrade but Google has jumped directly to 5.0.2 to the Nexus 7 (2012) Wi-Fi, so this could also be considered to be a model-specific release.

The latest Android 5.0.2 is uploaded to AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and the developer changelog from Android 5.0.1 to 5.0.2 has also been posted here.

This update brings the build number of the Nexus 7 (2012) Wi-Fi to LRX22G, posted Bill Yi of Google, in this Google Groups post but there is still no report of OTA release of Android 5.0.2 to Nexus 7 (2012) WI-Fi yet.
