Check out this post from Google+ which says that the Indian Moto G (2013) device received Android 5.0.1 update.

This update for Moto G 2nd gen has brought up the system version number to 22.21.25 and build number has changed to LXB22.46-25 while for the Moto G 1st gen, it is 220.21.25 and LXB22.46-25 respectively.
