Office Suite 8 is a popular Android app which allows users to create and edit Word, Excel, Power Point documents and also convert them into PDF. The app provides full compatibility with all Microsoft Formats including DOC, DOCX, DOCM, XLS, XLSX, XSLM, PPT, PPS, PPTX, PPSX, PPTM, PPSM.
The created or edited documents can be shared via cloud Services like Box, DropBox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Amazon Cloud Drive ans also could be shared via email, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct.
The app has picked up a significant update yesterday which brought up the version number of the app to 8.1.2558 and brought with it many new and improved features one of which is the change in the user-interface that provides desktop-like UI. Some of the new features are support for hyperlinks, text-to-speech recognition in Word.
The Excel module got data validation and custom font support, and the PowerPoint Service includes SmartArt, Themes and text formatting. The integrated PDF reader has got digital signature support and different page view modes.
