BlackBerry Messenger of version 2.4 was released for Android users earlier this week. But some of the BBM users on Android have encountered a bug which displayed “Temporary Service error” message.
BlackBerry today officially posted in its blog that the said bug has been resolved and the latest version of BBM is available for download right now on Google Play with version number 188.8.131.52.
While it is reported that only 1% of all the Android users who use BBM encountered this error, it can be a great disappointment for those who constantly stay in touch with their friends on BBM. Now that is resolved, everything is good to go, again!
All the Android users who have met with this bug need to uninstall the BBM on their Android device, and install the latest version for the Google Play Store. All your contacts and messages will be back in their place when you log-in into the app with your BBID.
