HTC has released the Android Kitkat 4.4.3 update to its popular One (M8) smartphone in India. The major feature that the update brings is the support for LTE, which HTC has disabled on the One (M8) until now.

The changelog that this update brings to the HTC One (M8) include:

– Open SSL Security improvement

– Support for 4G/LTE

– Performance improvements on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Mobile Network

– enhancements to Camera, Gallery and other bug fixes

The OTA(Over the Air) update weighs 658 MB with all these new enhancements and changes the version number to 2.10.720.1.

Connect your HTC One (M8) to Wi-Fi and head to settings to check the updates manually. If you haven’t received any update, make sure you check again later as the update will be released in stages to all the users.
