The much awaited lock screen app, which was introduced to the world at the Microsoft’s BUILD 2014 conference earlier this year, is now finally available for Windows Phone 8.1. However, this is a beta of the official version of the app yet to be launched.
From the app’s description on the Windows Phone Store, it is evident that the app provides six different layouts of the lockscreen and each layout has a unique display of time, date, notifications along with a different way of unlocking the screen. There is also an option of cycling through different images instead of one single image for the lock screen or users can allow Bing to choose the lockscreen backgrounds for them.
What’s more, this app also supports Windows Phones with 512 MB RAM.
Sounds interesting? Head on tot he Windows Phone Store and give the app a try.
