Sony has launched its new Android smartphone, the Xperia T3 in India and the sales will start from July 28. With a screen size of 5.3 inch, Sony claims it to be Claimed to be the world’s  first ultra slim phone with a display of this size.

The 5.3 inch screen of Sony Xperia T3 serves as HD (1280×720) TRILUMINOUS display for mobile with BRAVIA engine 2 277PPI (Pixels per inch). It has an 8MP camera featuring Exmor RS for mobile with 8x digital zoom and and a 1.1MP front-facing camera. The smartphone  enables wireless audio and video connection between devices, can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot and also features NFC (Near Field communication).

The smartphone comes with a stainless steel frame which not only showcases it but also serves as an antenna. Dimension wise, Xperia T3 measures 150.7 x 77 x 7 mm.

The Xperia T3 is priced at Rs. 27,990 ($465). Flipkart offers a discount is making the smartphone available for Rs.26,990. The online retailer is also giving off with a Sony Smartband (SWR -10) worth Rs. 5,990 and a premium case worth Rs. 2,490 for free!

Regarding the hardware of the Xperia T3, the smartphone is powered by1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 1 Gb RAM and a 2,500 mAh battery. It comes with 8GB of internal storage and runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. The smartphone is available in three variants -Black, White and Purple – to choose from.
