The new version of Google Play for Android devices has started rolling out. This latest version of Google play has new UI inspired from the material design concept, that was announced at the Google I/O 2014.

The interface of the Google Play on the outside is almost same as the previous version, but the difference stands out when user dives into any app details. That is, when you the page of any app or book or music, you will notice some major changes. Animations and badges are renovated and if the app page has a video associated to it, the video now comes with a header which is so appealing.

Information about the app where the description, app updates and changelog of the updates, latest version number etc are now displayed full screen. Even though the material design concept will be fully used in the next version of ANdroid, or the “Android L”, it is nice to let users know what it feels like.
