Samsung’s first camera smartphone, the Galaxy S4 Zoom is now set to receive the Android Kitkat 4.4.2 update.  The update is currently rolling out in Russia, with more regions to follow in the next few weeks.

The update brings the build number of the phone to C101XXUBNF4 and is said to include improvements like improved speed in performance, redesigned status bar, full screen album art, a camera shortcut on the lock screen and wireles printing support. The camera shortcut on the lockscreen and the wireless printing support is surely to be welcomed by all the people who love capturing photos on their Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Some features that came with the Galaxy K Zoom are also expected to be included in this 4.4.2 update for the Galaxy S4. For users who want to check manually for the update, go to Settings -> About Phone -> Software updates and tap on check for updates.
