Karbonn Mobiles of India has confirmed that the company is going to launch three smartphones that run on Windows Phone OS in India this quarter of the year.
Karbonn’s executive director Shashin Devsare said in an interview with the Economic Times, that these Windows Phones would come packed with Indianised applications and service. “Microsoft sees great value in developing an ecosystem through partnership with local Players like Karbonn” Devsare said. These Windows phone handsets are likely to be priced in the range of Rs. 8,000 -Rs.15,000.
