Skype for iPhone

Skype for iPhone is pushed to an update that brings voice message support, contact profiles and many more! This update changes the version of Skype to v 5.2. With Skype 5.1 on iPhone, iPhone users were able to delete a conversation, edit a message and a ‘Skype-only’ contact filer among others. Today, Skype 5.2 for iPhone also brought some new features that are ready to please its users.

1. Voice message support:

When a new voice message is received from someone, it will show up in the conversation. To listen to the voice message, press ‘play’.

2. View contact profiles:

To view any person’s contact profile, go to the ‘People‘ list of iPhone. Tap on any contact and tap on the three dots menu () . This will bring up the mood message, Skype name, birthday, location and other details of the contact.

If the user is in a one-to-one conversation, by tapping on the contact name in the header, the contact’s profile will be shown.

3. Add participants to existing conversations:

To add a new person to a one-to-one or a group conversation, tap on () menu at the bottom right corner of the screen. ‘Add participants‘ option will be shown. Tap on it and add any new person to the conversation.
