Nokia camera on Nokia Lumia Windows Phone

You can now make the most of your Lumia Camera with the updated Nokia Camera app. Microsoft has updated the Nokia Camera app for the Lumia Windows Phones today, pushing it to version 4.7.2.5 and brought many new features along. According to the Windows Phone Store, the features of the updated Nokia Camera app are:

  • Living images support.
  • Continuous Autofocus for faster focussing.
  • Surround sound capture in Video.
  • New Camera Roll with Full Resolution Zoom and in-line playback video, cinemagraph, smart sequences and refocus images.
  • Nokia Camera integrates with Nokia Creative Studio and Nokia Video Trimmer for editing your photos and videos.

These features make the Nokia camera app to be on par with its beta version. Living images support and continuous Autofocus will work on Lumia 930, 1520 and Icon running the Lumia Cyan update. So that means the Lumia Windows Phones that still are waiting for the Cyan release will be able to enjoy the first two features only after updating their firmware to Lumia Cyan.

So go update the Nokia Camera app on your Lumia and also while waiting for the Cyan update, try out the beta if you haven’t, to know how the new features of the app work and let us know your opinions in the comments!
