Got bored with Android and switching to iOS? If that is the case, you need no worry about that huge number of contacts in your Android device because iOS provides you a smooth way to transfer contacts from your Android phone to the new iPhone.
How to transfer contacts from Android Phone to iPhone:
First, in your Android phone, you need to sync all your contacts to your Gmail account. Read this post on how to sync Android phone contacts to Gmail.
After you are done with copying all your Android phone contacts to your Gmail account, go back to your iPhone. Read this post on how to add an email account on your iPhone. In this case, it should be your Gmail account that you will be adding.
If you have already added your Gmail account on your iPhone, then go your Gmail account from Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars and turn on Contacts option. In iOS 7, you turn on Contacts by sliding the bar to the right, which gives you a green color.
By doing so, all the contacts from your Gmail will be stored in iCloud and will be accessible from Contacts in iPhone. If you do not have an iCloud account, you can read this post to know how to set up an iCloud account.
