Micromax, the second largest mobile phone manufacturing company in India has launched its first Windows Phone devices for the Indian market today during the press release in New Delhi, India. By doing so, Micromax became the first mobil phone manufacturing company of India to launch Windows Phones, probably followed by Celkon, Xolo and others.

The two smartphones are under the Canvas brand of the company and are named Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121. Both are budget phones, with the W092 coming at a price of Rs.6,500 and the W121 will be available at a price of Rs,9,500. The Canvas Win W092 is believed to be cheapest Windows Phone in India beating Nokia Lumia 520.

Both these Windows Phones are dual-sim phones powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and run on Windows 8.1 mobile phone OS.

The Canvas Win W092 has a 4-inch  IPS WVGA display, a 5 MP rear camera with LED Falsh and a 0.3 MP front camera, 8GB inbuilt storage, expandable upto 32 GB.

The Canvas Win W121 has a 5-inch HD IPS display, 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front camera, 8GB of built-in storage expandable upto 32 GB.

Both the phones will be available in the market from July, 2014.
