This is for all folks who are enjoying their Windows Phone 8.1 on the Preview for developers version. A new update has hit Windows Phone 8.1 and this counts as the third update that the version received since its release in April this year.
The first update to the Windows Phone 8.1 that came in May and changed the OS version to 8.10.12382.878. This update was rolled out to fix the battery drain on the phone and fix some bugs. Now this third update puts the Windows Phone onto the build number 12397 and this update enables some newly commercialized devices and tweaks a couple of new API’s so you wont’t see any difference on your device, says the company.
