Microsoft is ready with a new update to Windows Phone 8.1 (preview for developers version). This update has begun reaching devices across all countries since yesterday and will change the OS of the Windows Phone to version 8.10.12393.890.
This is the second update to Windows Phone 8.1 and the changes that this update brings to the Windows Phone are still to be looked into while the first update improved the battery life and fixed minor bugs.
To install this update in the Windows Phone 8.1, swipe the start screen to the left to get to the App list.Scroll down to go to “Settings” ->”phone Update” and tap on “Check for update”.
The size of the update is 21MB and is easily downloadable using the mobile data plan on the phone. Downloading and installing the update over Wi-Fi is advised, however.
We’ll keep updating as we come to experience the new features in this update. Meanwhile, download this update for your Windows Phones and let us know what your experiences are in the comments!
