With Nexus devices and the Samsung smartphones in line to receive the latest Android 4.4.3  Kitkat update, Motorola is nowhere behind them. It has announced that the Android 4.4.3 update will begin rolling out to its Moto E, Moto G and Moto X smartphones this week.

This week, the Android 4.4.3, Kitkat update will be rolling to:

  • Moto X T-Mobile users.
  • Moto G users who bought online in the U.S (this also includes the Moto G 4G LTE model) and Moto G users who bought at retail in Brazil.
  • Moto E users who bought online in the U.S.
    Additional advantage for the Moto E users is that Motorola announced that there is a next major Android update for them.

The updated software in the Motorola gives :

  • an improved dialer with new interface, new colors to enhance consistency and  usability and several stability,framework and security fixes.
  • Improved camera quality for Moto X
  • A pause option for video recording in Moto G and Moto X
  • A new app called “Motorola Alert” will be available through this update to the Moto X and Moto G users.

The Moto X, Moto G and Moto E users of other locations need not worry as they will also receive an Android 4.4.3 update as soon as possible from Motorola. Meanwhile, you can check when your Motorola Android smartphone can possibly receive an update using Motorola support here.
