Wishing for a good Lockscreen pic isn’t a bad thing considering the lock screen is the first thing seen when Windows phone is turned on. So here is a cool new app called “Lock pic” (by developer “rouge code” from the Windows phone store) that automatically changes the pictures of the lock screen at regular intervals which results in giving a fresh look to the windows phone when it is turned on.

By installing this app in Windows phone, the picture of the phone’s lock screen gets updated for a preset period of time. The source for this app to collect the photos and display on the lock screen can be set by the user. So with the ‘Lock pic’ installed on the Windows phone, user can select:

This app give the flexibility of selecting from: Bing image search, Flickr image search, Bing image of the day, NASA Astronomy picture of the day, Phone photos.

  • The time period for which the Lockscreen photo has to change:

Users can select between the time intervals 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours, 12 hours or 1 day.

  • To blur the entire image on the Lockscreen
  • To add overlay behind text on the Lockscreen
  • To blur the overlay

After selecting the source of the photos, users can also customize how they appear on their Windows Phone Lockscreen.
